Trip itinerary

Your veins are coursing with excitement! Your suitcase has long been packed, and now you're wheeling it through the airport – your portal to the next adventure! Before you know it, the sounds of your rolling suitcase have been replaced with the whooshing of engines as your plane lifts off into the night sky at full speed. Countless stars twinkle overhead like tiny harbingers of all the experiences to come. You lean back, close your eyes and dream about the adventures ahead before they finally come true!

The glitter and sparkle you see beneath you, that's Singapore! Even as you make the descent to land, you can't get enough of the breathtaking sight of this metropolis of millions. Your plane hits the runway, and before you know it, you're in the middle of the urban jungle. Welcome to one of the most exciting cities in the world, where it's one highlight after another!

With the MRT, the city is within easy reach – one ticket and you’re everywhere. First stop: Marina Bay Sands, three towers linked at the top by a platform featuring what is probably the most photographed pool in the world. On the way there, the Helix Bridge spans the bay: 280 metres of stainless steel in the shape of a DNA double helix, illuminated in changing colours at night. In the evening, the city goes one better – right in front of the Sands, the light and water show takes place, several times a day, free of charge.
Where you start is up to you.

You cross the Cavenagh Bridge and – bang – instantly swap futuristic vibes for historic magic! From City Hall to the Old Supreme Court and the Old Parliament House, it's all a total throwback. And from here, Chinatown is just a stone's throw away. Stomach grumbling? No problem, the Chinatown Complex Food Centre has dumplings, noodles and all sorts on offer! Or for something different, let the Little India district draw you in with its colours, spices and lively streets – for a second, you might really think you're in Delhi! And when you need a little break from the hustle and bustle, just hit up the Gardens by the Bay city park (optional, payable on site). Here, you can find peace and tranquillity among the city’s iconic Supertrees – the perfect backdrop for a selfie or two!

You wake up in the glittering metropolis of millions one last time. Today, it's time to say goodbye. But there's no need to be sad – your next adventure is already waiting in the wings! You make your way to the airport, and before you know it, you're on a plane to Indonesia. Time for a little nap, and then you're already landing on Indonesian soil.  Upon arrival, you're greeted by your guide, who'll lead you off on your adventure tomorrow. But first, it's time to check into your accommodation and then get out and explore Makassar. Your first sightseeing stop: Masjid 99 Kubah, a mosque with – no joke – 99 colourful domes. From Pantai Losari, a large square at the harbour, you can enjoy the perfect view of the city's landmark. A little tip: The view is even better at sunset! Rather save your energy for tomorrow? Then end the day chilling out at the harbour and tasting your way around the street food stalls flanking the roads (optional, payable on site). Pisang Epe, a dessert made from grilled bananas, is famous in Makassar and a total must-try (optional, payable on site)!
